Leadership
Daniel Sanderson
Daniel lived in St. Peters Missouri until middle school, when his family moved to Marietta, Georgia. While in high school Daniel was saved when God confronted his religious hypocrisy and showed him that true purpose, security, and fulfillment was found only in Christ. He attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Philosophy. While in college, Daniel was actively involved in Campus Outreach – which is where he met his wife, Chelsea. Upon graduation, they got married and moved to Singapore to minister among college students. After returning to metro-Atlanta in 2015, they became members at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Sandy Springs, GA. Daniel worked as a certified Home Inspector until joining the staff of MVBC as the Operations and Facilities Director in 2021. Later that year he gladly accepted a call from the church to serve as a Lay Elder. Daniel is set to complete an M.DIv and a Certificate in Apologetics & Philosophy from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the Spring of 2025. He and Chelsea have four children: Remy, Mack, Winona, and Fletcher. He often spends his extra time wrestling with his kids and fixing up his house.
